De Pandaprinses is a heartwarming children’s book written by Dianne de Vries and illustrated by me. The story follows Pingi, a curious young panda growing up with her brothers, dreaming of becoming a princess.
I was approached by the author to bring this story to life through illustration. The brief called for something playful, expressive, and soft—anchored in gentle linework and warm, welcoming colours. Every character and scene was hand-drawn digitally, with attention to texture and emotion to ensure the book would appeal to both children and the adults reading along.
This project reflects my love for storytelling through visuals—where personality, atmosphere, and character design come together on the page.
